At Clinton Tabernacle, our Ministries are the heartbeat of our community outreach, spiritual growth, and service. With over 30 options, each ministry plays a vital role in supporting the church’s mission and creating spaces for fellowship, discipleship, and service. There’s a place for everyone to get involved and use their gifts to serve the Lord and one another.

Trustee Board
An appointed position responsible for the care and maintenance of the church property and finances, ensuring good stewardship of church resources.
Steward Board
Responsible for managing the financial matters of the church, including budgeting, overseeing expenses, and ensuring faithful stewardship of all church resources.
Ministry of Kindness
Engages in community outreach, evangelism, and support for those in need under the Pastor’s discretion.
Stewardess Ministry 1 & 2
Supports the Pastor and family through service and care during worship and special occasions.
Deaconess Board
A consecrated position that supports the spiritual well-being of the congregation through prayer, visitation, and service, especially to the sick and shut-in. Prepares communion elements and baptisms, and assists with the spiritual and physical needs of the church.
Usher Board
Serves as greeters and guides during worship services, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment.
Men of Zion
A men’s ministry that mentors and supports the spiritual growth of young men.
Men’s Ministry – My Brother’s Keeper
Encourages spiritual growth, accountability, and fellowship among the men of the church.
Women’s Ministry – The Rose Ministry
A sisterhood committed to prayer, fellowship, and growing in the Word through book studies and special events.
Youth Fellowship – Joshua Generation (Ages 12–22)
Provides age-appropriate spiritual development, mentorship, and fun events for the next generation.
Music Ministry & Praise and Worship
Leads the congregation in worship through song, offering opportunities for vocal and instrumental praise.
Health & Wellness Ministry
Promotes the physical, mental, and spiritual health of members through programs, health screenings, and wellness education.
Vision Pushers
Supports the Pastor’s vision by helping bring church goals and projects to life.
Christian Education Department
Oversees biblical teaching and spiritual development through age-appropriate departments, offering programs, classes, and curriculum.

Plans and monitors the church’s annual budget with wisdom and accountability.
Financial Records Ministry

Sunday School
Provides Bible-based education for all ages to grow in faith and understanding.
Home Missions Society
Focuses on outreach and service within the denomination to meet spiritual and financial needs.
Kitchen Ministry
Prepares meals for church events and ministries with love and hospitality.
Women’s Home and Overseas Missionary Society
Assists and supports overseas conferences through the following departments:
- Parent Body (Ages 41 & Up) – Overseers of the local and overseas missions
- Young Adult Missionary Society (Ages 22–40) – Engages young adults in missions, service, and spiritual development
- Youth Missionary Society
- Junior Y’s (Ages 13–16)
- Senior Y’s (Ages 17–21)
Inspires youth to serve others while learning about Christ and mission work
- Buds of Promise (Ages 12 & Under) – Nurtures children’s faith through age-appropriate activities
- Life Members Council – Supports the ministry for overseas missions
- Bureau of Supply – Provides materials and resources for missionary and outreach efforts
Class Leaders Ministry
Acts as “Sub Pastors” by supporting church members through connection, prayer, and spiritual accountability.
Lay Council
Equips and empowers lay members to lead and serve effectively within the church.
Pastor’s Appreciation Committee
Plans events and expressions of gratitude to honor and uplift the Pastor and family.
Capital Campaign Committee
Leads fundraising initiatives for long-term church improvements and expansion.
Worship and Sound Committee
Ensures high-quality sound and visual support for worship services and events.
Hospitality Ministry
Creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere for visitors and members at all church functions.
Social Concerns & Political Action Ministry
Addresses social justice, civic engagement, and political advocacy through a faith-based lens.
Zumba Ministry
Promotes health and fellowship through fun, faith-based fitness classes.
Evangelism Ministry
Trains and mobilizes members to share the Gospel and reach the unchurched. (The Great Commission – Matthew 28:16–20)
Twelve Disciples Ministry
A ministry committed to discipleship and accountability. Supports the Capital Campaign Committee through fundraising.
2nd Harvest Food Distribution
Provides groceries and food to individuals and families in need through monthly outreach.
Extended Learning
Offers educational classes for children during summer breaks to support developmental growth.
Performing Arts Ministry (Collaboration with EVOKE Hope)
Uses dance, drama, and creative arts to glorify God and inspire the congregation.
